Joseph Young joins Beirut Club

Joseph Young

Beirut Club (LBL) agreed terms with 32-year old American guard Joseph Young (188cm-84kg-1992, college: Oregon). He moved there from Atleticos de San German in Puerto Rican BSN league where he started the season. In 6 games just recently he had 11.8ppg, 1.7rpg and 1.8apg.
In 2015 he was drafted by Indiana Pacers (NBA) in second round (43rd overall). The former University of Oregon standout is in his tenth season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Young tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in China (Sturgeons, Monkey Kings, Royal Fighters and Changsha), Greece (Promitheas), Iran (Gorgan), Italy (Napoli), Kuwait (Kuwait), NBA G League (Indiana Mad Ants and Birmingham Squadron) and NBA Summer League (LA Lakers).
Among many awards Young's team made it to the Basketball Champions League Asia Semifinals in 2024. Young was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Honorable Mention back in 2021. He played also for University of Houston for 13 years.
