The most exciting game of round 11 in the WLBL took place in Antelias. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Azour (9-2) to third ranked Homentmen (10-2) 74-71 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Azour. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Homentmen looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Jacaira Allen (180-1998, college: ODU) who led her team to a victory scoring 22 points and 8 rebounds. Her fellow American import forward Jillian Archer (188-2000, college: St.John's) helped adding 20 points and 8 rebounds. American center Kai James (196-1995, college: FSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds. Homentmen have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Azour dropped to the third position with two games lost.
WLBL top team - Al Riyadi (11-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Hoops (0-12) in Beirut 95-74. It was a quality performance for American swingman Quionche Carter (183, college: FGCU) who led the winners and scored 30 points and 5 rebounds. Rebecca Akl accounted for 7 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. American forward Lyndsey Whilby (180-1999, college: KSU) came up with 34 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds for Hoops in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Al Riyadi. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-0 record. Hoops lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with 12 games lost.
The game in was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Champs (5-7) played at the court of seventh ranked NSA (5-6). NSA managed to secure a 5-point victory 60-55 on Monday. The best player for the winners was Olesia Malashenko who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists. NSA's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Tina Stephens produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds for the guests. NSA moved-up to sixth place. Champs lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost.
In the last two games of round 11 Almtayleb lost to Antranik on the opponent's court 41-56. Sporting B. managed to outperform Club Beirut in a home game 77-67.
