Best players of Lebanese LBL round 11

Experienced American A.J. English (192-G-1992) had an amazing evening in the last round for Hoops Club and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 32-year old guard had the game-high 32 points adding six rebounds and seven assists for Hoops in his team's victory, helping them to crush Antranik (#4, 6-4) with 18-point margin 88-70. Hoops is placed at 6th position in Lebanese LBL. Hoops is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-6 record. In the team's last game English had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He just recently signed at Hoops, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Iona College graduate has very impressive stats this year. English is in league's top in assists (4th best: 7.1apg) and averages solid 42.3% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Tyree Corbett (201-F-2000) of Club Centrale Al Markaziyyah Jounieh. Corbett impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 36 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Markaziyyah lost that game 91-101 to league's leader Beirut Club (#1, 10-0). This loss caused Al Markaziyyah to drop to 10th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-7 record. Corbett is one of the most experienced players at Al Markaziyyah and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.8ppg (#9). He also registered 11.6 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Kerwin Roach II (192-PG-1996) of CS Antonine (#5). Roach II showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Antonine, leading his team to a 100-64 easy win against NSA (#12, 0-11). Antonine needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 5 lost games. Roach II has a great season in Lebanon. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.7apg (8th best).
