An interesting game for Homentmen (10-2) which played road game in Beirut against one of their biggest challengers Club Beirut (7-5). Third ranked Homentmen had an easy win 78-53. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Club Beirut. Homentmen dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Club Beirut's 30. They outrebounded Club Beirut 33-22 including 20 on the defensive glass. Homentmen looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jillian Archer (188-2000, college: St.John's) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Daniella Fayad (180-1997) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Akilah Bethel (183-1993, college: LSU) replied with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for Club Beirut. Homentmen have an impressive five-game winning streak. WLBL top team - Al Riyadi (11-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked Almtayleb (3-9) 67-52. American swingman Quionche Carter (183, college: FGCU) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Rebecca Akl chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American swingman Jemimah Ashby (175-1991, college: Augustana) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds. Almtayleb's coach Nelly Nassar rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Al Riyadi have an impressive 11-game winning streak. The game in was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Sporting B. (7-5) played at the court of 6th ranked Champs (5-7). Sporting B. managed to secure a 6-point victory 59-53 on Thursday. Tynice Martin notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort. Even 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by Janika Griffith-Wallace did not help to save the game for Champs. Sporting B. have a solid three-game winning streak. In the last two games of round 10 Antranik was smashed by Azour on the road 77-21. Hoops lost to NSA on its own court 72-80.
