The best player for the winners was American center Kai James (196-1995, college: FSU) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 22 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Daja Woodard (190, college: Jackson St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and 20 rebounds. Azour keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Al Riyadi. Almtayleb lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost. They share the position with NSA. Azour is looking forward to face Antranik (#9) in Beirut in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Quionche Carter contributed with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 10 steals for the winners. Ukrainian Olesia Malashenko (191-1991) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists for NSA. NSA's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Al Riyadi have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. Akilah Bethel stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. The best for the losing side was Jazmin Harris with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 23 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Club Beirut maintains fourth place with 7-4 record. Antranik at the other side keeps the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with Hoops. Club Beirut will meet at home higher ranked Homentmen (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Antranik will play against the league's second-placed Azour (#2) and hope to win that game.
In the last two games of round 9 Champs were defeated by Homentmen in Antelias 75-59. Hoops were beaten by Sporting B. at home 63-81.
