Beirut Club (LBL) agreed terms with 30-year old American forward Tony Farmer (201cm-107kg-1994, college: Lee JC). Farmer played this summer at Olimpia Kings in Paraguayan LNB league. He managed to play in four leagues in four countries last year (!!!). In 10 LNB games just recently he had very impressive stats: 15.6ppg, 6.4rpg, 2.8apg and 1.1spg. Farmer helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. He also played for Indios in Dominican Rep. LNB where in 24 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 16.2ppg, 5.9rpg, 4.0apg and 1.3spg. 2024-24 was a great season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Rep. LNB Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
Farmer is quite experienced player. Farmer's career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in nine different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Farmer has played previously professionally in Argentina (Riachuelo de La Rioja), Bahrain (Al-Manama), Mexico (Correcaminos and Halcones de Ciudad Obregon), Qatar (Al Rayyan), Saudi Arabia (Al Salam), Syria (Al Nawair), Bolivia (Pichincha), TBL (Yakima SK and Raleigh Firebirds) and Ecuador (Punto Rojo). His team won Bahrain Supercup in 2024.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Asia-Basket.com Qatar D1 All-Imports Team back in 2020.
He graduated from Lee College in 2017 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
