Al Riyadi inks Travin Thibodeaux, ex Kesatria BS

Travin Thibodeaux

Defending champion Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (LBL) agreed terms with 28-year old American forward Travin Thibodeaux (203cm-110kg-1996, college: New Orleans) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. He played last season at Kesatria Bengawan Solo in the Indonesian IBL league. In 5 games just recently, he had very impressive stats: 23.6ppg, 10.4rpg, and 4.0apg.
Part of last season he spent at Shabab Al Ahli Dubai (ULB) in UAE league. He also played for Al-Manama (Premier League) in Bahrain league.
Thibodeaux is a highly experienced player, having played in eight different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America). He has played professionally in Bahrain, Bulgaria (Balkan), Cyprus (Apoel), Ukraine (Kyiv Basket), NBA G League (Indiana Mad Ants), NBA Summer League (Indiana Pacers), and The Basketball Tournament (Bucketneers). His team won the Bahrain Supercup in 2024.
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus League Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2018 and it'll be his 7th season as a pro player.
