Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jonathan Gibson (188-1987, college: NM State) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and the former international swingman Ahmad Ibrahim (198-1992, college: Rice) who added 15 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Trinidad and Tobago center Johnny Hamilton (213-1994, college: UT Arlington) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Sergio El Darwich (194-1996, college: Maine) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
