Best players of Lebanese LBL round 16

American-Rwandan Prince Ibeh (208-C-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for Taipei Fubon Braves and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 16.
The 29-year old center had the game-high 34 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Homentmen in his team's victory, helping them to beat Mayrouba (#10, 1-16) 103-89. Fubon Braves maintains the 5th position in Lebanese LBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Fubon Braves will need more victories to improve their 11-6 record. In the team's last game Ibeh had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He just recently signed at Fubon Braves and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Prince Ibeh averages just after two games 26.0ppg and 9.5rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Byron Wesley (196-G-1992) of Nadim Souaid Academy. Wesley impressed basketball fans with 34 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course NSA cruised to a 91-82 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Antranik (#6, 8-9). NSA's 8th position in the standings has not changed. 12 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories NSA managed to get this year. Wesley is a newcomer at NSA and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Marcel Jones (203-F-1985) of Mayrouba (#10). Jones scored 27 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). Despite Jones' great performance the Mayrouba lost 89-103 to the higher-ranked Homentmen (#5, 11-6). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Jones has individually a great season in Lebanon. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.8ppg (5th best) and assists with 2.2apg (6th best).
