Davis' 41-point game gives him Player of the Week award

26-year old AZE-USAn guard Jordan Davis (188-G-1997) had a great game in the last round for CS Antonine and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
He had the game-high 41 points adding five rebounds and six assists for Antonine in his team's victory, helping them to crush Mayrouba (#10, 1-14) with 16-point margin 112-96. Antonine maintains the 7th position in Lebanese league. Antonine is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-9 record. In the team's last game Davis had a remarkable 68.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Antonine's top player in his first season with the team. University of Northern Colorado graduate has very impressive stats this year. Davis is in league's top in points (3rd best: 23.2ppg), assists (4th best: 6.4apg) and averages solid 53.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Tyree Corbett (201-F-2000) of league's second-best Beirut Club. He is American forward in his first season at Beirut Club. In the last game Corbett recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 18 rebounds. Bad luck as Beirut Club lost that game 91-97 to the lower-ranked Antranik (#6, 7-8). Beirut Club managed to keep the same second spot in the standings. His team's 11-4 record is not bad at all. Corbett is a newcomer at Beirut Club and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Deng Acuoth (208-C-1996) of Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (#3). Acuoth scored 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Sagesse, leading his team to a 100-58 easy win against the lower-ranked NSA (#8, 4-11). Sagesse needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 4 lost games. Acuoth has a very solid season. In 5 games in Lebanon he scored 9.4ppg.
