Lebanese LBL round 12 best performance: Javion Blake

American Guard Javion Blake (191-G-1997, agency: Haylett Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for Champville, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 26-year old player got a double-double of 30 points and 11 assists, while his team crushed Mayrouba (#10, 1-11) with 18-point margin 92-74. Champville maintains the 4th position in Lebanese LBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Champville will need more victories to improve their 8-4 record. In the team's last game Blake had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Champville's top player in his first season with the team. Former Washburn University star has very solid stats this year. Blake is league's best scorer averaging so far 27.1ppg. Blake is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 7.3apg) and averages impressive 63.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Jordan Bruner (208-F-1997, agency: Diamond Sports) of Antranik Beirut. Bruner had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led Antranik to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Antonine (#7, 5-7) 98-72. Antranik's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 6-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Bruner is a newcomer at Antranik, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international swingman Christophe Khalil (192-G/F-1999) of Mayrouba (#10). Khalil scored 25 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Despite Khalil's great performance the Mayrouba lost 74-92 to the higher-ranked Champville (#4, 8-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Khalil has a very solid season. In 12 games in Lebanon he scored 15.1ppg.
