Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (LBL) signed 33-year old American (has also USA-Nigerian passport) guard George A. Williams II (198cm-95kg-1990, college: Wayland Baptist).He was about to sign at Al Ittisalat in Egyptian Superleague

He played for USM Alger in Arab Club Championships

He is quite experienced player. He has played in seventeen different countries on four different continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Ferro), Belize (Tiger Sharks), Canada (Power and Highlanders), Chile (Puerto Varas), Dominican Republic (Reales), Iraq (Al Kahraba and Zakho), Kuwait (Arabi), Mexico (Pioneros Los Mochis and Libertadores), Oman (Al Bashaer), United Kingdom, Venezuela (Marinos), Kenya (Kenya Ports Authority), Bolivia (La Salle and Amistad), Egypt (Al Geish), PBL (Lynchburg T.) and Mongolia (Bison).

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Omani League championship title in 2021. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Kuwait D2 Point Guard of the Year in 2022.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.

He graduated from Wayland Baptist University in 2012 and it is his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player. He played also for State Fair Community College for 2 years.
