Sagesse inks Karim Ezzeddine

Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (LBL) has signed Karim Ezzeddine, a 26-year-old Lebanese-French international power forward. Ezzeddine, who stands at 206cm and weighs 102kg, was previously set to sign with Dynamo, where he had played for the past three years.

He also represented Lebanon at the FIBA Asia Cup in Jakarta, Indonesia, last year. His team won the Silver medal, and his statistics for that event were as follows: 6 games played, averaging 6.5 points per game, 4.8 rpg, 1.2 apg, and 1.2 spg. His shooting percentages were 40.0% from the field (FGP), 44.4% from three-point range (3PT), and 87.5% from the free-throw line (FT).

He's a highly experienced player, having played in four countries across three continents (Europe, Asia, and North America). He has professional experience in Bahrain (Al-Manama and Sitra), Saudi Arabia (Al Nassr, Al Ansar, and Al Fateh), and France (Paris Basket). In 2023, he reached the final of the Dubai International Tournament and was voted onto the Asia-Basket.com Lebanese League All-Domestic Players Team.

He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2019, and this is his fifth season as a professional player. He also played for Northwest Florida State College for two years.
