Beirut Club inks Cliff Alexander

Beirut Club (LBL) has signed 27-year-old American power forward Cliff Alexander. He stands at 203cm and weighs 107kg. Alexander played college basketball at Kansas and is represented by the agency MSG. He was close to signing with Sagesse before joining Beirut Club. In the previous season, he played for Al Nasr in the Libyan league.
He attempted to reach the NBA and participated in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
He is a highly experienced player, having played in eight different countries across five continents. These countries include the Dominican Republic (Metros), France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket and Le Mans), Germany (Brose Bamberg), Korea (KoGas and Suwon KT Sonicboom), NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Portland Trail Blazers, and Orlando Magic), South Korea, NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors, College Park SkyHawks, Long Island Nets, and Wisconsin Herd), and NBA Summer League (LA Clippers). In 2023, his team finished as the regular season runner-up in the Libyan League Group 2. Additionally, he was honored as the Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Player of the Year in the same year.
He attended the University of Kansas until 2015, and this is his ninth season as a professional player.
