Troy Williams (ex Gladiadores) signs at Dynamo

Dynamo Lebanon (LBL) landed 28-year old American 201cm small forward Troy Williams (college: Indiana, agency: MSG) for new season. Williams played this summer at Gladiadores in Venezuelan SPB league, but left. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In two SPB games just recently he averaged 3.5ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.5apg. Williams also played for Blackwater Elite in Filipino PBA where in three games he had very impressive stats: 39.0ppg, 11.7rpg, 5.7apg, 1.7spg and 1.0bpg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Williams is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Williams has played previously professionally in Italy (Pesaro), Taiwan (Leopards), Turkey (Besiktas), NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Houston Rockets, NY Knicks, Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies) and NBA G League (RGV Vipers, Iowa Wolves and Stockton Kings).
Among many awards he won NBA G League Atlantic Division championship title in 2018. He was voted to Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese T1 League Honorable Mention in 2022.
Williams graduated from Indiana University in 2016 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
