Beirut Club lands Ibrahima Thomas- May 29, 2023

Thomas moved there from US Monastir in Tunisian ProA where he played this season. He was a member of Senegalese Senior National Team between 2013 and 2018. Thomas is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eleven different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, African and of course North American leagues. Thomas has played previously professionally in Bahrain, Iran (Azad), Japan (Saitama), Jordan (Orthodox and Al Wihdat), Qatar (Al Sadd), Saudi Arabia (Al Hilal, Ohod and Ittihad), Spain (Caceres), Tunisia (ES Rades and US Ansar), Libya (Al Nasr), Mali (AS Police) and Lebanon (Dynamo and Hoops). He played in the final of Dubai International Tournament in 2023. Among many awards he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League Domestic Blocker of the Year in 2022. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Beirut Club. Thomas graduated from University of Cincinnati in 2012 and it is his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
