Best players of Lebanese LBL round 4 (Second Stage) - by Hoops Agents- April 27, 2023
The 26-year old center had a double-double of 30 points and twelve rebounds, while his team beat Dynamo (#2, 3-1) 88-81. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Al Riyadi to jump to the first place in the Lebanese LBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Riyadi already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Reath had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Al Riyadi and it was his first game, where he immediately became new team's leader. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Mark Lyons (185-G-1989) of Homentmen. Lyons impressed basketball fans with 40 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Homentmen lost that game 95-109 to Liders (1-4). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Homentmen still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Homentmen managed to get this Second Stage. Lyons is one of the most experienced players at Homentmen and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. The third best performed player last round was American Zach Lofton (193-G-1992, agency: Slash Sports) of second-ranked Dynamo. Lofton got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. Despite Lofton's great performance Dynamo lost 81-88 to #1 ranked Al Riyadi. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Dynamo needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Lofton has a great season in Lebanon. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.1ppg (5th best) and assists with 4.8apg (8th best). Other top performing players last week: 4. Youssef Ghantous (191-G-1996) of Liders - 27 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists 5. Alex Peacock (199-PF-1997) of Liders - 22 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists 6. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
