Morgan's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Guard Dallas Morgan (185-G) had a very impressive game in the last round for NSA and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 20.
He had a double-double of 34 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Liders (#6, 7-11) 93-82. NSA maintains the 9th position in Lebanese league. NSA is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-13 record. In the team's last game Morgan had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be NSA's top player in his first season with the team. Central Michigan University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Morgan is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.1ppg. Morgan is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 8.8rpg).

Second best performed player last round was Myles Carter (185-G-1999, agency: Diamond Sports) of Atlas. He is American guard in his first season at Atlas. In the last game Carter recorded impressive 27 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Bad luck as Atlas lost that game 89-109 to the higher-ranked Sagesse (#3, 16-2). Atlas is still in a red zone at 11th spot in the standings. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Atlas managed to get this year. Carter is a newcomer at Atlas and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.2ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 7.8rpg and 4.9apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Jimmy Salem (190-G-1995) of Champville (#7). Salem got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds and five assists. Despite Salem's great performance Champville lost 74-108 to the higher-ranked Beirut Club (#2, 17-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Champville not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 11 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Salem could try to bring Champville's a little bit higher in the standings. The season just started for Salem as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
