27-year old forward Phillip Rankin (203-F-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for Byblos and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
He had a double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Atlas (#10, 4-11) 95-83. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Byblos maintains the 12th position in Lebanese league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 13 games and recorded just two victories. Rankin has many years of experience at Byblos, through which he has constantly improved. Phillip Rankin averages this season 21.3ppg and 9.8rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Myles Carter (185-G-1999) of Atlas. He is American guard in his first season at Atlas. In the last game Carter recorded impressive 28 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Atlas lost that game 83-95 to slightly lower-ranked Byblos (#12, 2-13). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Atlas keeps 10th position. 11 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Atlas managed to get this year. Carter is a newcomer at Atlas and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.4ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 7.8rpg and 4.4apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Jordan Jackson (190-G-1997) of Antranik (#7). Jackson showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the last round. He was a key player of Antranik, leading his team to a 82-74 win against slightly lower-ranked NSA (#9, 5-10). The chances of Antranik not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 9 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Jackson could try to bring Antranik's a little bit higher in the standings. Jackson has individually a great season in Lebanon. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.7ppg (best scorer) and assists with 5.3apg (7th best). He also has 4.0spg and FGP: 55.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Milko Bjelica (207-F-1984) of NSA - 23 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Ibrahim Haddad (1998) of Byblos - 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Youssef Ghantous (191-G-1996) of Liders - 27 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Mason Harrell (203-F/C-1997) of Atlas - 16 points and 11 rebounds
8. Dallas Morgan (185-G) of NSA - 28 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Zach Lofton (193-G-1992) of Dynamo - 27 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Ater Majok (210-C-1987) of Al Riyadi - 17 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
