Milko Bjelica (ex Ittihad) is a newcomer at NSA

Newly promoted NSA (LBL) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 38-year old Montenegrin-Serbian ex-international 207cm forward Milko Bjelica, agency: BIG. Bjelica started the season at Ittihad in Saudi Arabian SBL league. In 6 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.3ppg, 10.5rpg and 2.3apg.
He also represented Montenegro at the Qualifications to European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) 2015 nine years ago. His stats at that event were 2 games: 5.0ppg, 5.0rpg.
Bjelica is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Germany (Braunschweig and Koeln 99ers), Japan (Alvark Tokyo), Lithuania (Rytas), Qatar (Al Shamal), Spain (Baskonia and Zaragoza), Turkey (Efes and Dacka), Montenegro (Mornar) and Serbia (Crvena Zvezda). Bjelica won Lithuanian League championship title in 2009 and 2010 and the cup in 2009 and 2010. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian LKL Bosman Player of the Year back in 2009 and 2010.
Bjelica is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at NSA.
