Salah Mejri (ex Jahraa) joins Beirut Club

Beirut Club (LBL) added to their roster experienced 35-year old Tunisian international center Salah Mejri (217cm-107kg-1986). Mejri started the season at Jahraa in Kuwaiti D1 league. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Mejri also represented Tunisia at the Afrobasket Championship in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) nine years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 11.8ppg, Reb-4 (8.8rpg), 1.8apg, 1.0spg, Blocks-3 (2.0bpg), FGP: 56.3%, 3PT: 25.0%, FT: 57.1%.
He is quite experienced player. Mejri's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in six different countries. Mejri tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Belgium (Antwerp Giants), China (Flying Leopards and Royal Fighters), Spain (Real Madrid and Obradoiro), NBA (Dallas Mavericks), Tunisia (ES Sahel) and NBA G League (Texas Legends).
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Beirut Club.
On Mejri: A lanky center who fights hard in the middle and has great timing for rebounds and shot blocking.
