Lebanese LBL round 21 best performance: Ahmad Ibrahim (by Hoops Agents)- April 3, 2022
The 29-year old player was the main contributor (42 points, three rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Anibal (#11, 1-17) with 22-point margin 87-65. Dynamo is placed at 2nd position in Lebanese LBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Dynamo will need more victories to improve their 14-4 record. In the team's last game Ibrahim had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range and got seven three-pointers out of 15 attempts. He turned to be Dynamo's top player in his first season with the team. Former Rice University star has very solid stats this year. Ibrahim is in league's top in points (3rd best: 18.8ppg) and averages impressive 42.5% from behind 3-point line. The second best player in last round's games was young William Sawan (201-F-1998) of Byblos. Sawan had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Byblos lost that game 87-95 to slightly higher-ranked Homentmen (#9, 4-13). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Byblos keeps 10th position. 16 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Byblos managed to get this year. Sawan is a newcomer at Byblos, but is already one of team's top players. Third on the list of top players last round was forward Karim Jadayel (191-F-1992) of Homentmen (#9). Jadayel got into 30-points club by scoring 42 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . He was a key player of Homentmen, leading his team to a 95-87 win against slightly lower-ranked Byblos (#10, 2-16). Homentmen can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 4-13 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Jadayel has a very solid season. In 17 games in Lebanon he scored 13.5ppg. Other top performing players last week: 4. Bassel Harfouch (193-G-1993) of Atlas - 30 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists 5. Elios Saad (202-F/C-2001) of Homentmen - 15 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists 6. Habib Abdallah) of Hoops - 26 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists 7. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
