The 31-year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Dynamo (#4, 11-4) with 17-point margin 92-75. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Beirut Club is placed at 3rd position in Lebanese LBL. They are still close to the very top. Beirut Club would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 11-2 record. In the team's last game Gyokchyan had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Beirut Club, through which he has constantly improved. Former Franklin & Marshall College star has very solid stats this year. Gyokchyan is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.8ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 10.2rpg), assists (6th best: 5.3apg) and averages impressive 1.3bpg and 62.0% FGP. The second best player in last round's games was young international guard Amir Saoud (186-G-1991) of league's second-best Al Riyadi. Saoud had a very good evening with 27 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course he led Al Riyadi to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Homentmen (#9, 3-12) 88-61. This victory allowed Al Riyadi to move up to second position in the standings. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 11 matches. Saoud is one of the most experienced players at Al Riyadi and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.0ppg (#3). Third on the list of top players last round was Bechara Boustany of Byblos (#10). Boustany showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Byblos, leading his team to a 88-82 win against slightly higher-ranked Atlas (#8, 4-10). Byblos can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-13 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Boustany has a very solid season. In 15 games in Lebanon he scored 13.6ppg.
