Best players of Lebanese LBL round 7

Christophe Khalil put on an amazing game in the last round for Sagesse and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The had a double-double of 17 points and ten rebounds, while his team edged out Beirut Club (#7, 3-3) 70-67. Sagesse is placed at 4th position in Lebanese LBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Sagesse will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. Khalil turned to be Sagesse's top player in his first season with the team. Khalil has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 16.3ppg) and averages solid 2.3spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 26-year old guard Malek Hijazi (190-G-94) of Moutahed. Hijazi impressed basketball fans with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course Moutahed cruised to a 73-61 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Byblos (#8, 2-3). This victory allowed Moutahed to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 3-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Hijazi is one of the most experienced players at Moutahed and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Moutahed's star - Ibrahim Haddad (98). Haddad scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds. He was another key player of Moutahed, helping his team with a 73-61 win against slightly lower-ranked Byblos (#8, 2-3). Moutahed needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Haddad has a great season in Lebanon. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 1.3ppg (best scorer).
