Anibal lands Jad Khalil

JAD KHALIL

Newly promoted Anibal Zahle (LBL) tabbed 22-year old international point guard Jad Khalil (186-96). He played most recently at Champville. In 18 LBL games he averaged 3.3ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.4apg last season. Khalil helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals.
The previous (17-18) season he played at Al Moutahed where in 30 LBL games he had 9.2ppg, 3.5rpg and 3.6apg. He can count that season as a very successful as was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Most Improved Player of the Year and selected to Honorable Mention.
Khalil has been also a member of Lebanese international program for some years. He has regularly played for Lebanese senior team since 2017 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2012.
Khalil represented Lebanon at the West Asia Basketball Championships in Amman (Jordan) two years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 3 games: 1.7ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.3apg.
Khalil has played previously for two other teams: Tadamon and Kahraba.
