Ramel Curry
RAMEL CURRY

Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (LBL) tabbed experienced 38-year old American guard Ramel Curry (191-84kg-80, college: CSU Bakersfield). He has played for the last three years at Moutahed. In 15 LBL games in Lebanon he averaged impressive 19.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 4.3apg and 1.5spg last season. He can count that year as a very successful as was selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Honorable Mention.
Among other achievements Curry's team made it to the League Semifinals for two years in a row (2016 and 2017). He received also Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague Import Player of the Year award back in 2012.
Curry is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eight different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Curry has played previously professionally in France (Limoges CSP Elite), Greece (Panathinaikos), Israel (Hapoel Jerusalem), Italy, Mexico, Turkey (Erdemir), Venezuela (Cocodrilos) and Ukraine (Mariupol and BC Donetsk).
Curry attended Cal State - Bakersfield until 2002 and it will be his 17th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into His outlook: A good offensive player, with great 1-vs-1 skills and some natural talent to score in the traffic. Improved his shooting accuracy after graduating from college, and this is a proof of his professionality. Needs to add soon a defensive mentality to adapt himself to European game.
