Regina Palusna

REGINA PALUSNA

Antranik Beirut (WLBL) added to their roster 29-year old Slovakian international center Regina Palusna (192-89). She played last summer at Mandurah Magic in Australian SBL. In 21 games she had very impressive stats: 18.6ppg, 8.5rpg, 4.0apg, 1.9spg and 1.0bpg. The last season Palusna played at Visby Ladies in league where in 27 games she recorded 13.0ppg, 6.3rpg, 3.7apg, 1.1spg and 1.2bpg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Palusna has been also a member of Slovakian international program for some years. She has regularly played for Slovakian senior team since 2009 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2009.

Palusna represented Slovakia at the Qualifications to European Championships 2017 two years ago. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 1.3ppg, 1.7rpg, 1.0apg, 1.0bpg.

Palusna is quite experienced player. She has played also professionally in Belgium (Belfius Namur), Czech Rep., France (Nantes Reze), Hungary (Pecs 2010), Spain (Ros Casares), Slovakia (MBK Ruzomberok and Rucon) and Czech Republic (Zabiny Brno).

On Palusna: Can run the floor well and play inside and outside the key. She is a very smart player in both sides offence and defence as well, has a reliable outside shoot, good post moves and is a good defender. Ginka has a good overview of the game and is a good rebounder. She has a lot of international experience.
