Astana looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. The best player for the winners was international forward Askar Maydekin (203-1997) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Lithuanian guard Adas Juskevicius (194-1989, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Astana players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Marty Jackson (198-2000, college: St.Leo) who recorded 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import point guard Michael Mays (178-1999, college: King) added 22 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) respectively. Barsy Atyrau's coach Alexandr Lyssyak rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Almaty L. forced 21 Caspiy Aktau turnovers. It was a good game for the former international guard Stanislav Sahipov (190-2002) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. International point guard Daniil Severgin (183-2005) contributed with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American swingman JP Moorman II (201-1998, college: UC Riverside) answered with 17 points and 9 rebounds and the former international center Vladimir Ivanov (208-1994) added 15 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Caspiy Aktau. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
