Shymkent - Barsy 2 94-83


Shymkent dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Barsy 2's 32. They outrebounded Barsy 2 52-27 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Shymkent looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. The former international forward Nikolay Bazhin (198-1990) nailed 24 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side and forward Aleksei Vereshagin (200-1992) accounted for 23 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Shymkent players scored in double figures. Shymkent's coach Muslim Shakirov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Abat Marat (183-2005) came up with 19 points and 5 assists and forward Mansur Isaev (190-2009) added 17 points respectively for Barsy 2 in the defeat.

Power forward Begzod Mammatrimov (198-2004) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points, 19 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks for the winning side and the former international point guard Adilhan Marat (185-1999) accounted for 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Turan players scored in double figures. Power forward Maksim Nalogov (198-1994) came up with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Artem Parfenov (198-1998) added 12 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Bars in the defeat.

Almaty-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Champ1on's 34. Almaty-2 forced 43 Champ1on turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 21 passes made by Champ1on's players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Nikita Fedchenko (190-2004) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). International point guard Daniil Severgin (183-2005) contributed with 18 points and 4 steals for the winners. Five Almaty-2 players scored in double figures. point guard Roman Shabatura (191-2007) answered with 15 points and 4 assists and guard Evgeniy Gorev (185-2007) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Champ1on. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
