Shymkent players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. Forward Aleksei Vereshagin (200-1992) scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Victor Yuldashev (190-2002) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists during the contest. Four Shymkent players scored in double figures. Shymkent's coach Muslim Shakirov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Swingman Artem Fedotov (195-2005) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Maxim Zhukov (173-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists.

The former international center Dmitriy Gavrilov (204-1986) replied with 4 points, 16 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international guard Ibragim Konysov (185-1996) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Aktobe.

Bars looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Almaty-2's players. Power forward Maksim Nalogov (198-1994) notched 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and point guard Anatoly Alash (175-2003) supported him with 18 points, 6 assists and 5 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Bars players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 11 points and 15 rebounds by guard Nikita Fedchenko (190-2004) did not help to save the game for Almaty-2. Guard Platon Gritchin (190-2004) added 13 points for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Even 17 points and 6 rebounds by point guard Roman Shabatura (191-2007) did not help to save the game for Champ1on. Danila Chernysh (190-2008) added 4 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
