Best players of Kazakhstan Higher League round 34

Experienced Alexey Alyonushka (190-F-1995) had a great game in the last round for Karaganda and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award for round 34.
The 30-year old forward had a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Champ1on (#7, 13-11) 78-67. Karaganda maintains the 9th position in Kazakhstan Higher League. Karaganda is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-14 record. In the team's last game Alyonushka had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Karaganda's top player in his first season with the team. Alyonushka has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 10.5rpg) and averages solid 58.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Karaganda's star - Mukhamedrassul Duissenbay. Duissenbay impressed basketball fans with 24 points and 6 rebounds. Of course Karaganda cruised to a 78-67 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Champ1on (#7, 13-11). Karaganda's 9th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-14 record. Duissenbay is a newcomer at Karaganda and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Roman Shabatura (191-PG-2007) of Champ1on (#7). Shabatura scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Champ1on, leading his team to a 75-69 win against the lower-ranked Pavlodar (#14, 2-23). Champ1on needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 11 lost games. Shabatura has a very solid season. In 21 games in Kazakhstan he scored 15.6ppg. He also has 7.7rpg and a FGP of 56.4%.

10. Dias Kalymbetov (190-G-2004) of Almaty-2 - 22 points and 3 rebounds
