Nalogov's 19 points and 7 rebounds give him Higher League Player of the Week award

31-year old power forward Maksim Nalogov (198-F/C-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for MBK Bars Petropavlovsk and receives a Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award for round 32.
He had the game-high 19 points adding seven rebounds and four assists for Bars in his team's victory, helping them to outclass AiRom (#12, 5-23) with 57-point margin 105-48. Bars maintains the 4th position in Kazakhstan Higher League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Bars will need more victories to improve their 19-5 record. In the team's last game Nalogov had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Bars, through which he has constantly improved. Maksim Nalogov averages this season 17.2ppg and 8.5rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Ivan Yarochshuk (187-SG-2008) of BK Barsy Atyrau 2nd team. He is a guard in his first season at AiRom. In the last game Yarochshuk recorded an impressive 37 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Barsy 2 was edged by the higher-ranked Tigers-KazATU (#9, 10-14) 85-81. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Barsy 2 keeps 12th position. 23 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories Barsy 2 managed to get this year. Yarochshuk is a newcomer at Barsy 2 and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Shyndos Zhumabay (187-G-2005) of Astana Tigers-KazATU (#9). Zhumabay scored 25 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Tigers-KazATU, leading his team to a 85-81 win against the lower-ranked AiRom (#12, 5-23). The chances of Tigers-KazATU ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 14 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Zhumabay could help Tigers-KazATU to bring them higher in the standings. Zhumabay has a great season in Kazakhstan. After 23 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.3ppg (4th best).
