The game between Top Four teams took place in Turkistan. Top-ranked host Turan (20-0) defeated 3rd ranked Aktobe (17-4) 61-54. Turan forced 20 Aktobe turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Adilhan Marat (185-1999) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 4 assists and guard Alymzhan Maksutov (180-1994) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international center Dmitriy Gavrilov (204-1986) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 19 rebounds. Undefeated Turan have an impressive 20-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-0 record. Aktobe lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with four games lost.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Shymkent. Their biggest opponent host Shymkent (17-3) lost to third ranked Aktobe (17-4) 77-70. It ended at the same time the 17-game winning streak of Shymkent. The winners were led by the former international center Dmitriy Gavrilov (204-1986) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 10 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and Artur Junusov supported him with 16 points. Even 19 points and 5 assists by point guard Anuar Shakirov (180-2000) did not help to save the game for Shymkent. Shymkent's coach Muslim Shakirov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Aktobe maintains third position with 17-4 record having just two points less than leader Turan. Shymkent at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost.
Eighth ranked Karaganda (9-11) crushed at home 14th ranked Pavlodar (2-19) by 48 points 84-36, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. Madiyar Sarsenov fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Vladislav Moskvin produced 4 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Karaganda have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Pavlodar lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 19 games lost.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 28: bottom-ranked Kaspiy-2 was destroyed by Bars on the opponent's court 75-38. Oral unfortunately lost to Karaganda in a home game 86-97. Pavlodar was rolled over AiRom on the road 61-98.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 15 points and 10 rebounds by Nikolay Bazhin of Shymkent.



Bars - Kaspiy-2 75-38

Very expected game in Petropavlovsk where 15th ranked Kaspiy-2 (1-21) was crushed by fifth ranked Bars (15-5) 75-38 on Friday. Bars outrebounded Kaspiy-2 45-26 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Bars made 7 blocks. Swingman Daniyal Nurgaliev (194-2006) fired 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Andrey Vakhrameev (204-2005) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Four Bars players scored in double figures. Guard Amir Kabulov (186-2006) produced 23 points and 5 steals and Omar Nurkasyn (178-2009) added 7 points respectively for lost side. Kaspiy-2's coach Nursultan Bekmuratov gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Bars have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Kaspiy-2 lost sixteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 21 lost games.

Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Karaganda (9-11) defeated on the road 10th ranked Oral (7-12) 97-86 on Friday. Guard Konstantin Teryukov (181-2000) fired 34 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Alexey Alyonushka (190-1995) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Karaganda players scored in double figures. Guard Meyrambek Shamuratov (180-2001) produced 38 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Mansur Seilkhanov (184-2006) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Karaganda have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Loser Oral keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Tigers-KazATU.
