Pan's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

30-year old center Robert Pan (202-C-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team BK Astana and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had the game-high 9 points adding eleven rebounds and six assists for Astana in his team's victory, helping them to beat Caspiy Aktau (#4, 3-9) 75-63. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Astana to consolidate first place in the Kazakhstan league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Astana keeps a perfect 12-0 record. Pan turned to be Astana's top player in his first season with the team. Pan has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 14.6ppg), rebounds (8th best: 6.1rpg) and averages solid 69.1% FGP and 44.7% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Askar Maydekin (203-F-1997). He is international forward in his 4th season at Astana. In the last game Maydekin recorded an impressive 20 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course together with Pan he helped BK Astana with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Caspiy Aktau (#4, 3-9) 97-71. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Astana consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. He plays for the best team in the league and Astana managed to win all 12 games keeping a perfect record. Maydekin is one of the most experienced players at Astana and similarly like Robert Pan has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.4ppg (#9). He also registered 5.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Eric McGill (190-G-1996) of BK Caspiy Aktau (#4). McGill showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists in the last round. Despite McGill's great performance the Caspiy Aktau lost 63-75 to #1 ranked Astana. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Caspiy Aktau can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-9 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for McGill he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. McGill has a very solid season. In 4 games in Kazakhstan he scored 12.8ppg.
