Best players of Kazakhstan Higher League round 8 (by Hoops Agents)

Anuar Shakirov (180-PG-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for MBK Kazygurt Shymkent and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award for round 8.
The 25-year old playmaker had the game-high 29 points adding seven rebounds and seven assists for Shymkent in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Tobyl (#15, 0-8) with 33-point margin 112-79. Shymkent maintains the 3rd position in Kazakhstan Higher League. They are still close to the very top. Shymkent would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 7-1 record. Shakirov has many years of experience at Shymkent, through which he has constantly improved. Shakirov has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 20.8ppg) and averages solid 52.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Shymkent's star - young guard Victor Yuldashev (190-G-2002). Yuldashev impressed basketball fans with 41 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course together with Shakirov he helped MBK Kazygurt Shymkent with another comfortable win outscoring Tobyl (#15, 0-8) 112-79. Shymkent's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 7 matches. Yuldashev is one of the most experienced players at Shymkent and similarly like Anuar Shakirov has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.1ppg (#4). He also registered 6.1 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Begzod Mammatrimov (198-C/F-2004) of top-ranked Turan. Mammatrimov scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!).
