Vassiliy Petrishinets joins Caspiy Aktau

BK Caspiy Aktau (National League) agreed terms with experienced 35-year-old forward Vassiliy Petrishinets (198cm-97kg-1989) for the new 2025-26 season. He will still stay in Kazakhstan where he played last season at Tobol. In 30 Kazakhstan games, he had 10.1ppg, 4.9rpg, and 1.4apg. He helped them to end the regular season as the second-best team in the league and advanced to the league semifinals. For the previous four seasons (2020-24), he played at another Kazakhstan team Aktobe.
Petrishinets has spent his entire career in Kazakhstan playing for three other teams: BK Tobol-2 Kostanay, Astana Tigers-KazATU, and Sinegorie Kokshetau.
He won the Kazakhstan Higher League championship title in 2017. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Kazakhstan League Honorable Mention in 2021. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Caspiy Aktau.
