Kazakhstan National League round 18 best performance: Nazim Adylbekov (by Hoops Agents)

Forward Nazim Adylbekov (200-F-2001) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for MBK Irtysh Pavlodar, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 20 rebounds, while his team in a lost game to Caspiy Aktau (#5, 12-14) 79-82. Irtysh maintains the 7th position in Kazakhstan National League. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 21 games and recorded just five victories. In the team's last game Adylbekov had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Irtysh and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Nazim Adylbekov has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 15.4ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 11.1rpg) and averages impressive 1.5bpg and 52.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Aamer Muhammad (185-G-2001) of BK Barsy Atyrau. Muhammad had a very good evening with 31 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists. Of course he led Barsy Atyrau to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked Tobol (#2, 18-6) 108-79. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Barsy Atyrau consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team's 14-10 record is not bad at all. Muhammad is a newcomer at Barsy Atyrau, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.1ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 4.2rpg and 6.9apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was international guard Maxim Marchuk (195-G-1994) of BK Caspiy Aktau (#5). Marchuk showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, 22 rebounds (!!!) and 12 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Caspiy Aktau, leading his team to a 82-79 win against slightly lower-ranked Irtysh (#7, 5-21). The chances of Caspiy Aktau ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 14 games, recording just twelve victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Marchuk could help Caspiy Aktau to bring them higher in the standings. Marchuk has a great season in Kazakhstan. After 23 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.0rpg (3rd best) and assists with 6.1apg (5th best). He also has 2.9spg and 1.5bpg.
