Kazakhstan National League round 15 best performance: Anton Bykov (by Hoops Agents)

International Forward Anton Bykov (200-F-1989) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked MBK Tobol Kostanay, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 35-year old player had a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds, while his team outclassed Astana Ac. (#6, 7-13) with 44-point margin 114-70. It allowed Tobol to take over top position in the Kazakhstan National League. Tobol have a solid 16-4 record. In the team's last game Bykov had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Tobol, through which he has constantly improved. Anton Bykov has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 21.2ppg) and averages impressive 63.1% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Myles Douglas (203-F-1998) of league's second-best Irbis Almaty. Douglas had a very good evening with 23 points and 9 rebounds. It was enough for Irbis to edge slightly lower-ranked Barsy Atyrau (#4, 11-7) 71-68. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Irbis consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 15-4 record is not bad at all. Douglas is a newcomer at Irbis, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.8ppg (#4). He also registered 5.6 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Tobol's star - international guard Shaim Kuanov (181-PG-1991). Kuanov scored 16 points and passed 10 assists (!!!). He was another key player of MBK Tobol Kostanay, helping his team with a 112-73 easy win against the lower-ranked Astana Ac. (#6, 7-13). Tobol confirms their top position in the standings. Kuanov has a great season in Kazakhstan. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 7.4apg (2nd best).

9. Amirali Suleimenov (192-G-2003) of Astana Ac. - 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists
10. Magzhan Sarsengaliev (187-PG-2002) of Astana Ac. - 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists
