Fedchenko's 27 points and 6 rebounds give him Player of the Week award

20-year old guard Nikita Fedchenko (190-G-2004) had a great game in the last round for Almaty Legion and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
He had the game-high 27 points adding six rebounds for Almaty L. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Barsy Atyrau (#4, 10-6) 105-96. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Almaty L. maintains the 3rd position in Kazakhstan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Almaty L. will need more victories to improve their 12-5 record. Fedchenko has many years of experience at Almaty L., through which he has constantly improved. Nikita Fedchenko averages this season 13.0ppg and 5.8rpg.

Second best performed player last round was LaDarius Marshall (201-F/C-1999) of BK Caspiy Aktau. He is American forward in his second season at Caspiy Aktau. In the last game Marshall recorded an impressive double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Caspiy Aktau lost that game 55-71 to the higher-ranked Tobol (#2, 14-4). Caspiy Aktau managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-12 record. Marshall is well-known at Caspiy Aktau and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.9ppg (#7). He also registered 9.1 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Almaty L.'s star - guard Daniil Severgin (183-PG-2005). Severgin scored 24 points and passed 13 assists (!!!). He was another key player of Almaty Legion, helping his team with a 105-96 win against #4 ranked Barsy Atyrau in a game of the week. Almaty L. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 5 lost games. Severgin has a great season in Kazakhstan. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.9ppg (5th best) and assists with 6.7apg (3rd best). He also has 3.0spg and a FGP of 56.3%.
