Best players of Kazakhstan National League round 13 (by Hoops Agents)

Talented International Point guard Daniil Severgin (183-PG-2005) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Almaty Legion and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 19-year old playmaker had the game-high 35 points adding three rebounds and five assists for Almaty L. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Irtysh (#8, 3-17) 102-89. Almaty L. maintains the 4th position in Kazakhstan National League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Almaty L. will need more victories to improve their 10-5 record. In the team's last game Severgin had a remarkable 78.6% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Almaty L., through which he has constantly improved. Severgin has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 16.9ppg), assists (6th best: 5.9apg) and averages solid 3.1spg and 55.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Russian center Andrey Desiatnikov (220-C-1994, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) of BK Astana. Desiatnikov impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Astana to another comfortable win 99-82 over the higher-ranked Irbis (#2, 12-3) being unquestionably team leader. Astana's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-11 record. Desiatnikov is a newcomer at Astana and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Nazim Adylbekov (200-F-2001) of MBK Irtysh Pavlodar (#8). Adylbekov scored 16 points and grabbed 19 rebounds (!!!). Despite Adylbekov's great performance the Irtysh lost 70-90 to the higher-ranked Almaty L. (#4, 10-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Irtysh can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-17 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Adylbekov has individually a great season in Kazakhstan. After 20 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.8ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 11.3rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.5bpg and a FGP of 51.6%.
