Smith's 37-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old American guard TK Smith (196-G-1998, agency: MSG) had an amazing evening in the last round for Aktobe and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had the game-high 37 points adding four rebounds and eight assists for Aktobe as his team lost the game against Tobol (#2, 10-4) 73-78. Aktobe maintains the 7th position in Kazakhstan league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 11 games and recorded just three victories. In the team's last game Smith had a remarkable 56.3% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Aktobe's top player in his first season with the team. Prairie View A&M University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Smith is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.3ppg. Smith is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 6.4apg) and averages solid 3.3spg and 54.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Nazim Adylbekov (200-F-2001) of MBK Irtysh Pavlodar. He is a forward in his 2nd season at Irtysh. In the last game Adylbekov recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Irtysh lost that game 69-79 to the higher-ranked Irbis (#1, 11-2). Irtysh managed to keep the same 8th spot in the standings. 13 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Irtysh managed to get this year. Adylbekov is well-known at Irtysh and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.9ppg (#8). He also registered 10.9 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward LaDarius Marshall (201-F/C-1999) of BK Caspiy Aktau (#5). Marshall scored 19 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Despite Marshall's great performance the Caspiy Aktau lost 70-87 to slightly lower-ranked Astana Ac. (#6, 6-10). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Caspiy Aktau ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 9 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Marshall could help Caspiy Aktau to bring them higher in the standings. Marshall has a great season in Kazakhstan. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.1ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 9.1rpg (5th best). He also has 1.2bpg and a FGP of 57.2%.
