The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Turan (14-2) on the court of third ranked Shymkent on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Shymkent 81-64. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Turan. Shymkent looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Sixth-ranked Champ1on (2-14) gave a tough game to fourth ranked ChelSU (8-7) in Almaty. The visitors from Kostanay managed to secure only three-point victory 74-71. However their fans expected easier game. Guard Alexander Papshiv (191-1991) notched 18 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and Mikhail Mudragelya supported him with 21 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals. Even 23 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals by Bektimir Tau (200-2007) did not help to save the game for Champ1on. Champ1on's coach Maxim Rahimov tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. ChelSU maintains fourth position with 8-7 record. Champ1on lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth place with 14 games lost.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bars have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 13-3 record behind leader Turan. Tigers-KazATU lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 11 games lost.
