Bykov's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

35-year old forward Anton Bykov (200-F-1989) had a great game in the last round for MBK Tobol Kostanay and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had a double-double of 38 points and 24 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Irtysh (#8, 0-4) with 39-point margin 111-72. Tobol is placed at 3rd position in Kazakhstan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Tobol will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Bykov had a remarkable 70.6% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Tobol, through which he has constantly improved. Bykov has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 24.5ppg) and averages solid 3.0spg and 69.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Konstantin Dvirnyi (192-G/F-1988). He is international swingman in his 2nd season at Tobol. In the last game Dvirnyi recorded an impressive 25 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course together with Bykov he helped MBK Tobol Kostanay with another comfortable win outscoring Irtysh (#8, 0-4) 107-74. This victory allowed Tobol to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 3-2 record is not bad at all. Dvirnyi is well-known at Tobol and together with Anton Bykov he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.5ppg (#5).

Third place about best performers goes to forward Alexey Alyonushka (190-F-1995) of MBK Irtysh Pavlodar (#8). Alyonushka scored 22 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Despite Alyonushka's great performance the Irtysh lost 74-107 to the higher-ranked Tobol (#3, 3-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Irtysh can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 4 games. Alyonushka has individually a great season in Kazakhstan. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.8ppg (9th best).
