American TK Smith (196-G-1998, agency: MSG) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Aktobe and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 26-year old guard had the game-high 38 points adding three rebounds and five assists for Aktobe in his team's victory, helping them to beat Barsy Atyrau (2-2) 101-94. Aktobe maintains the 5th position in Kazakhstan National League. Aktobe is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Smith had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be Aktobe's top player in his first season with the team. Prairie View A&M University graduate has very impressive stats this year.
