Maksim Nalogov (198-F/C-1994) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader MBK Bars Petropavlovsk and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 30-year old power forward had a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Shymkent (#3, 3-2) 87-75. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Bars to consolidate first place in the Kazakhstan Higher League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Bars already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. Nalogov has many years of experience at Bars, through which he has constantly improved. Nalogov has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.5ppg), rebounds (6th best: 9.5rpg), assists (5th best: 4.2apg) and averages solid 60.0% FGP and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young swingman Medeu Aukesh (195-F/G-2005) of Karaganda. Aukesh impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 17 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Karaganda lost that game 74-80 to slightly higher-ranked Champ1on (#5, 1-4). This loss caused Karaganda to slide to the very bottom (7) position in the standings. 5 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Aukesh is one of the most experienced players at Karaganda and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Bars' star - Sergey Dyatlik (194-F-1997). Dyatlik showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of MBK Bars Petropavlovsk, helping his team with a 87-75 win against #3 ranked Shymkent in a game of the week. Bars started extremely well this year. They recorded 6 victories without losing a single game. Dyatlik turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Dyatlik has a great season in Kazakhstan. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.5apg (8th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
