An interesting game for Bars (5-0) which hosted in Petropavlovsk 4th placed Shymkent (2-2). Leader Bars managed to get a 12-point victory 87-75. Bars outrebounded Shymkent 49-36 including 36 on the defensive glass. Bars looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Power forward Maksim Nalogov (198-1994) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Sergey Dyatlik (194-1997) contributed with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. point guard Anuar Shakirov (180-2000) answered with 28 points and 6 assists for Shymkent. Shymkent's coach Muslim Shakirov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Undefeated Bars have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record. Shymkent at the other side keeps the fourth position with two games lost. Bars are looking forward to face league's second-placed Turan in Turkistan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Shymkent will play at home against ChelSU and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
