There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in National League. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Barsy Atyrau at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by Irbis 81-75. Irbis forced 83 Barsy Atyrau turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 90 long-distance shots on high 333.3 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Irbis made 24 blocks. American guard Jalon Perry (185-1998, college: Faulkner) scored 38 points (!!!) and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Jackson Dubinski (185-1996, college: Columbia, MO) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists during the contest. American guard Aamer Muhammad (185-2001, college: Troy) responded with 38 points (!!!) and 4 assists (on 69-of-73 shooting from the field). Barsy Atyrau's coach Alexandr Lyssyak rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Irbis will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Barsy Atyrau will play on the road against Aktobe and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Kostanay. Caspiy Aktau saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Tobol 84-81 on Wednesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The former international guard Maksim Marchuk (195-1994) notched a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 16 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and Roman Marchuk supported him with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 17 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists by the former international point guard Shaim Kuanov (181-1991) did not help to save the game for Tobol. Caspiy Aktau will play against Astana Ac. at home in the next round. Tobol will have a break next round.
Very important is a road loss of Irbis against Barsy Atyrau on Saturday night. Visiting Irbis were defeated by Barsy Atyrau in a tough game in Atyrau 67-74. The best player for the winners was Aamer Muhammad who scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Barsy Atyrau's coach Alexandr Lyssyak used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jalon Perry produced 25 points for the guests. Barsy Atyrau will meet Aktobe on the road in the next round. Irbis will have a break next round.

In the last game of round 2 Almaty L. won against Irtysh on the opponent's court 82-69.




Irtysh - Almaty L. 69-82

Very expected game in Pavlodar where Irtysh was defeated by Almaty L. 82-69 on Wednesday. Almaty L. outrebounded Irtysh 53-37 including 19 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Nikita Fedchenko (190-2004) who scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Dias Kalymbetov (190-2004) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Nazim Adylbekov (200-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Alexey Alyonushka (190-1995) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
