Tobol keeps Bykov for another season

Anton Bykov

MBK Tobol Kostanay (National League) re-signed experienced 35-year old international 200cm forward Anton Bykov for new season. He has played there for the last nine seasons. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. It was a very successful season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com Kazakhstan League All-Domestic Players Team, League Player of the Week and Asia-Basket.com All-Kazakhstan League First Team.
Bykov also represented Kazakhstan at the Asian Games in Huangzhou (China) last year. During this event he scored an average of 7 points per game and had 4.8 rebounds per game.
He has spent his entire career in Kazakhstan playing for two other teams: Kazakhmys and MBK Kapshagay.
Among many awards he won Kazakhstan Higher League championship title in 2017. Bykov was also Asia-Basket.com Kazakhstan League All-Tournament Team back in 2019.
