Irbis outrebounded Aktobe 52-38 including 37 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Robert Pan (202-1995) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. American point guard Marcus Myers (185-1996, college: Aurora, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Irbis players scored in double figures. Irbis' coach Ramunas Cvirka used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Jai Williams (206-1995, college: St.Joseph's) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import guard Vante Hendrix (196-1998, college: CSUN, agency: Interperformances) added 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Aktobe.

The former international forward Anton Bykov (200-1989) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and the former international point guard Shaim Kuanov (181-1991) chipped in 22 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. At the losing side American point guard Jarvis Garrett (182-1995, college: URI) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 assists and the other American import forward Jamaure Gregg (201-1999, college: NSU) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field).
