Hendrix's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

25-year old American guard Vante Hendrix (196-G-1998, agency: Interperformances) had an amazing evening in the last round for Aktobe and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 26.
He had a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds, while his team outclassed Caspiy Aktau (#7, 6-20) with 31-point margin 89-58. Aktobe maintains the 3rd position in Kazakhstan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Aktobe will need more victories to improve their 16-10 record. In the team's last game Hendrix had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Aktobe's top player in his first season with the team. Vante Hendrix averages just after two games 15.5ppg and 12.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Valeriy Likhodey (205-PF-1986) of Astana Academy. He is Russian forward in his first season at Astana Ac.. In the last game Likhodey recorded an impressive 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he led Astana Ac. to another comfortable win 92-73 over slightly lower-ranked Almaty L. (#6, 10-15) being unquestionably team leader. Astana Ac.'s 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 13-13 record is not bad and everything may still change. Likhodey is a newcomer at Astana Ac. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Keshon Tabb (180-PG-1999) of Almaty Legion (#6). Tabb showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Almaty L., leading his team to a 97-78 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Astana Ac. (#5, 13-13). Tabb has a great season in Kazakhstan. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.2ppg (best scorer) and assists with 6.0apg (6th best). Tabb attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
